Last night, I caught the new show
Band Geeks at the Norma Terris Theater in Chester. The Norma Terris is the second stage for Goodspeed Musicals, where they often do tryouts for shows to see if they have "Broadway" potential.
It's the story of a high school marching band trying to make it to the big competition. As you'd expect, it features a bunch of sci-fi loving, social misfits and their tubas, piccolos and cowbells - but it also has some twists to the storyline that make it totally worth seeing. I loved it.
There are just four shows left -- two on Saturday, two on Sunday -- tickets are at
https://www.goodspeed.org/peo/ and a better description of the show is
here. Good for all ages!
