On June 15, 2010 the Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the Patrol Division executed a Search and Seizure Warrant at the residence of 163 Pearl St. We had received numerous complaints concerning this address from concerned citizens that reside in the area.

Neighbors complained that a light skinned black male continuously sells narcotics out of the house at 163 Pearl St. We were also advised that there were numerous children that reside within said residence. Through our investigation it was determined that the primary residents at the address were Jason Manns and Yuvette Bacote.

This was the third search warrant that has been served in the area of Liberty St. and Pearl St. within the past month. The two other addresses were 166 Pearl St. and 58 Liberty St.

The male target of our investigation Jason Manns age 32 was taken into custody on the front porch and found to be in possession of  MDMA/Ecstasy.

Jerell Butler DOB age 21 was located inside of the residence and was found to be in possession of marijuana.

A 17 year old youthful offender was also located inside of the residence and was found to be in possession of marijuana.

A 15 year old juvenile was located on the front porch of the residence and was found to be in possession of marijuana.

There was a significant amount of narcotic paraphernalia located throughout the residence including two glass crack cocaine pipes in the juvenile’s bedrooms. There were three juveniles located inside of the residence ages 2, 5, and 13.
