Don't Forget Saturday is Connecticut Open House

More than 215 tourism and cultural organizations are welcoming Connecticut residents to the 6th Annual Open House Day this Saturday, June 12. Organizations are offering a variety of special incentives, such as discounted/free admission, free gifts, special exhibits or activities. There’s so much to see and do in Connecticut and today is the day to do it.

In Middletown, Buttonwood/North End Rising will be open from noon to 4 pm giving out complimentary books. Outdoor concerts, food and raffles. Green Street Arts is participating with a full day of music, performances, and mini classes. There is free admission all day at the Middlesex County Historical Society. If you have ever wanted to try your hand at weaving or making jewelry or making pottery, stop by the Wesleyan Potters from noon to 4 pm.
