76 TROMBONES PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

WHO CAN PLAY?
Horn players of all skill levels are invited to participate Festival Grand Finale performance of Dan Zanes' 76 Trombones on June 26, 2010! Trombones and all brass instruments are welcome to participate. You'll play in two different songs during the concert with Dan Zanes and Friends. There will be a rehearsal in the afternoon and the performance is at 7 pm in the evening.

Please use this information to plan your performance at the Festival.
SCHEDULE
Rehearsal will take place from 2-4 pm on the day of the performance, Saturday June 26th. Players should arrive at the Trombone Check In Tent, located at the Temple Street entrance to the Elm Street Stage, no later than 2 pm. There, you will receive wrist bands giving you access to backstage for rehearsal and performance. There are a number of acts performing on Saturday and backstage will be crowded. We ask that you leave the backstage area after rehearsal, returning for your show call at 6:30.
AT THE SITE
A tent will be located off stage right where you can gather and leave instrument cases during rehearsal or the performance. Please avoid bringing any valuables with you to the rehearsal or performance as there will no secure place to store them. At 6:45 pm, players will assemble backstage for the parade to begin!

2:00 - 4:00 pm Rehearsal
6:30 pm Show call
7 pm Concert begins
WHAT TO WEAR
Players should come dressed and ready to perform. There are no dress requirements. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a raincoat if there is a chance of rain.
IN CASE OF RAIN
The Festival will make every effort to continue the event on a rain-or-shine basis. Information regarding rain delays or cancellations will be available on the day of the event by calling (203) 498-3751.
