Criminal Investigation of School Administration Is Ongoing

In response to a request by The Eye for the report on the criminal investigation of the school finances, the Police Department stated that the investigation is still in progress. Lieutenant Heather Desmond wrote in an email:

I just checked and the investigation for the BOE is no where near over. This is an involved case and will be going on for several weeks.

In the Middlesex County Courthouse, Captain McKenna of the Police Department denied that he had told Superintendent of Schools Michael Frechette that the investigation was concluded.
