Farmers Market Today


The Wesleyan Farmers' Market will be held today, April 21st, in Usdan Courtyard from 11 am - 2 pm. The courtyard is off of Wyllys Avenue, on the Wesleyan campus.

Support and celebrate local food and area farmers!

Featured vendors this week include:
  • Urban Oaks Organics (greenhouse grown produce)
  • Four Mile River Farm (meats: sausages, steaks)Beltane Farm (goat cheese)
  • Winding Drive Jams (jams, vinegars, oils)
  • Shoreline Roasters (coffee)
  • Meriano's Bakery (stuffed breads, pies, quiches)
  • Sugar Maple Farms (maple syrup and honey)
  • Three Sisters Farm (honey, soap, jewelry)
  • Auntie Arwin's Spices (spice mixes)
  • Wave Hill (artisan breads)
  • Maria's Kitchen Crafts (pickled vegetables, jams, breads)
  • Sweet Linda's Bakery (pastries and baked goods)
Bon Appetit will be cooking a local lunch sourced from area farms, with both a meat and vegetarian option.

The student forum 'NGO's in the Developing World' will also be running a clothing swap at the market to benefit Amcha Ghar, an non-profit dedicated to providing a safe home for young girls living in the red light district of Mumbai. The forum has collected clothes from students around campus and will be selling the used clothing priced by the bag.
