Drug Bust on Main St

From the Middletown Police Department


The MPD Street Crime Unit has received numerous complaints regarding narcotic activity inside of the apartment building at 562 Main St.  We had received complaints from tenants, landlords, and concerned citizens that reside in the area. 

As a result of our investigation it was learned that some tenants were selling narcotics out of their apartments at 562 Main St. It was also learned that some residents were allowing narcotic traffickers into their apartments in order to sell drugs.

On March 8, 2010 one target of our investigation Roosevelt George DOB 7/17/65  of 562 Main St. Apartment #6 was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell, and Possession of Crack Cocaine With Intent to Sell within 1500’ of a School Zone/Daycare. George was held on a $200,000.00 bond.


On March 8, 2010 a second party was identified selling narcotics out of apartment number #7. Marcus Blue DOB 1/1/81 of no certain address was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell, Possession of Crack Cocaine With Intent to Sell within 1500’ of a School Zone/Daycare, and Failure to Keep Prescription Narcotics in Original Container. Blue has an extensive narcotics sales history. Blue was in possession of a significant amount of US Currency, which was seized as asset forfeiture. Blue was held on a $250,000.00 bond.
