The Middletown Nose



Dic Wheeler has been in Middletown since his Weslyean days.  Friday night, his wife, and artistic partner in ArtFarm, threw a 50th birthday party for Wheeler at Oddfellows playhouse, which he helped establish.  Dic was also the founder and longtime director of the annual Children's Circus.

The crowd greeted Wheeler wearing his trademark clown's nose, and Wheeler was genuinely surprised at the crowd of more than 100 friends, families, former colleagues and students who came to celebrate with him.
