Jonah Center Presents Diane Lane on Global Warming

Tuesday, November 17, at 7 p.m. At First Church of Christ, Congregational (UCC) 190 Court Street, Middletown

Using “Google Earth” to visualize changes across our planet, Diana Lane will give viewers a guided tour of future climate predictions for different regions across the world. What changes are predicted by 2030, 2050 and 2100? How would reductions in greenhouse gases make a difference? What is the predicted impact of sea-level rise in the Northeast? Bring your questions about climate change predictions, and we can explore different maps, scenarios, and uncertainties.

For those who have been involved with 350.org or other efforts to promote clean energy, improved efficiency, and the reduction of our dependence on fossil fuels, this presentation will fire you up and help you appreciate more deeply why your efforts are important.
