Around Middletown in 80 Days - Day 69


10 Days Left!

Some are saying "Thank goodness" while others are lamenting the fact that our community's daily diversion of history, business and tongue-in-cheek writing will be fading away in only 10 days. Phileas finally took a day off to recover - and completely missed his planned trip to the CT Valley Hindu Temple While many of our readers versed in classic adventure literature were sure that Inspector Fix finally caught up to our intrepid traveler wandering around the same city for 69 days, Phileas really just need a down day. He awoke from the All Hallow's Eve festivities and didn't feel up to snuff and was immediately seized with panic that he had contracted the H1N1 virus after attending a dance. After a day of rest, Phileas is back on tour, with no symptoms of which to speak. The real problem? That tricky time change.

So Phileas is gearing up for an excellent final push. He'd like to remind you that the reason he's in town:
