This year's dinner will feature the following:
Teresa Kramer, the founder of the Canton Raptor Care wildlife clinic. She will present a live raptor program featuring several of her education birds. The program will highlight the dangers facing our airborne predators.
If you would like to help Canton Raptor Care, please bring one of the following: sponges, paper towels, Dawn liquid detergent, polypro blankets, large freezer bags, or disposable non-latex gloves.
Steve Grant, former Courant reporter, has covered the Connecticut environment for a quarter century. His talk will discuss both the political scene and the exquisite natural features of the state he has explored. He has canoed the entire Connecticut River, traveled the New England shoreline from Canada to New York, walked the 360-mile route of the legendary Leatherman and hiked hundreds of miles of the Appalachian Trail.
