Google Your Family Tree at the Godfrey Memorial Libray
Daniel M. Lynch, author of “Google Your Family Tree: Unlock the Hidden Power of Google,” will speak at the Godfrey Memorial Library in conjunction with the Jewish Genealogical Society of Connecticut on Sunday, October 18 at 1:30 pm. As an online research tool, Google is among the most powerful. Most likely Google’s indexes contain clues to your ancestors. Mr. Lynch will explain filtering and other techniques to get the most out of Google genealogy research.
This free program will be held at the Godfrey Memorial Library, 134 Newfield St. in Middletown. The Godfrey Library encourages all who seek to find out more about their ancestors to use the library and its resources. The Library is open for research Monday 9 am to 8 pm. Tuesday - Friday 9 am to 4 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm.
