The girls were in Forks, Washington, the rainiest town in the lower 48, and the setting for Stephenie Meyer's vampire series, Twilight.
Interestingly, Meyer lives in sunny Arizona and chose Forks as the location for her saga after a google search for the most overcast place in America...and now Forks has become a major tourist destination for the tween/teen set. Talk about economic development!
