Driving by Lino's market in Durham last Friday afternoon, the sign outside said Lobster $6.99. Then the Supermarket flyers arrived advertising Lobster at an even lower price. So what to celebrate to justify this luxury purchase? Father's Day is fast approaching...but not quite here. Oh my, the Eye is one year old! That's it, run out and buy.
For our Eye celebration we chose to make Lobster bisque using a recipe from Food TV at http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/bobby-flay/lobster-bisque-recipe/index.html- This recipe comes from the Bank Street Lobster House in Mystic, Ct and is worth the extra time it takes.
As part of our celebration we talked about what makes us read the Eye every day, sometimes checking multiple times during the day. It may be just that “the Eyes have it” and no other news source does. Happy Birthday.
