Two Generations of Artists

The Russell Library, 123 Broad Street, cordially invites you to a reception for Aisling Svennungsen and Lowell Svennungsen on Saturday April 4, from 2:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. It will be held in the Hubbard Room, which is on the second floor of the Library. Go up to the stacks, through to the back of the room, and turn right.

Aisling will exhibit her unique silver and copper jewelry in the main lobby She will also include her small sculpture creations. Aisling is an art student and has been assisting and studying with jewelry artist Wendy Black-Nasta for several years.

Lowell, her father, will exhibit They Came from Outer Space … but Who Saw Them Land?” The 31 images of impact craters are rendered in mixed media —acrylics, gouache, inks, pastels, and watercolors—and will hang behind the upstairs information desk during April and May. The display features recent works of limited edition prints. Subjects include impact structures, meteorites, and volcanoes.
