The first snow of the season has arrived. The weather service says that the snow will disappear by 9:00, there is a chance of rain and a high wind advisory until this evening.
According to the State Department of Environmental Protection, Connecticut averages 2 inches of snowfall in November. The earliest recorded snowfall in Connecticut was on October 4, 1987.
